Daily learnings and Readings from 'Catholic Mom'

Romans 8:31b-39

"What will separate us from the love of Christ?"

"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,

nor present things, not future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth,

nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God

in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Being grateful for the love of God and Jesus Christ will always brighten our day and

lessen the pain of the life circumstances we face in this lifetime.

Psalm 109:21-22, 26-27, 30-31

Gospel: Luke13:31-35

"Yet I must continue on my way today, tomorrow, and the following day, for it is impossible that a prophet should die outside of Jerusalem."

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord."

Ponder:

Do my thoughts and actions always reflect my faith in Jesus and His salvation?

Sometimes, I see injustice and I want to act on my own, yet I have faith in Jesus, Our Father God, the Merciful Hail Mary, and the Holy Spirit, who will protect and rescue me and my child from pain and suffering.

Prayer:

Thank You, Jesus, for loving me and my child despite my faults, flaws, thoughts and actions. Thank You for Your mercy, grace, and strength as I see my sins and ask for forgiveness from You and those whom I hurt. Through Your love and care, I repent, remorse and reflect on myself every day to live as a better catechumen. Please protect my child when I am away from him. Please let my child know that I love him and I dream of spending more time with him every second of my breathing life. Through Your blessing and love, my child came from my humble human body. I appreciate Your graceful spiritual guidance for me and my child. Thank You and I love you. Amen.
