Prayer for Peace

Jesus, Prince of Peace,

You have asked us to love our enemies

and pray for those who hurt us. 

We pray for those people who oppose us.

With the help of the Holy Spirit,

may all people to be kind and respectful to each other,

and learn to work together to resolve conflict and frustration or misunderstanding, for that justice

which brings truth and everlasting peace.

To you be glory and honour forever and ever.
