Prayer for Strengthening Faith

Heavenly Father,

You are the source of all truth, and Your Word is a lamp for my feet and 

a light for my path. 

In these times of confusion and deception, I pray for the gift of discernment. 

Protect my heart and mind from the lies of the enemy that masquerade as truth, 

even from those who call themselves believers. 

Give me the spiritual eyes to see beyond appearances and to know 

Your true voice. 

Uproot every seed of confusion and 

expose every falsehood that seeks to cloud my judgment. 

Holy Spirit, teach me to measure every person and situation 

by the eternal standard of Your Word. 

Guard my heart and make me quick to recognize subtle compromises. 

Help me to be a student of Scripture, so that I can rightly divide truth from error. 

I commit myself to Your will and ask that 

You remove any spiritual blindness from my eyes. 

Grant me the courage to walk the narrow path, trusting that 

Your truth will set me free.
