LENT: Repentance and Forgiveness
"Heavenly Father, I come before You today, acknowledging that I have often avoided taking full responsibility for my actions, words, and choices. I have blamed others and circumstances for the messes caused by my own pride and selfishness. Mother Mary, Holy Queen of the heaven, pray for me, I have sinned. Let me learn more from your kind heart and loving grace and mercy. Lord, please forgive me for this lack of integrity. I ask for the courage to own my mistakes, to face the truth, and to stop making excuses. Help me to be a person who can be counted on, one who walks in honesty rather than deflection. Cleanse my heart, Lord, and guide me to take responsibility for my part in broken relationships or situations. I ask for a repentant heart, not just for the actions themselves, but for the attitudes that caused them. Thank You for Your mercy and for the strength to change. Amen."
